Agago District Hands Over Patongo Court Building
HW Alioni Emmanuel Drajole, Magistrate Grade I (R) receiving keys to the premises from the Deputy Resident District Commissioner Agago

The Deputy Resident District Commissioner Agago, handed over Patongo Magistrate Court premises to Magistrate Grade I, HW Alioni Emmanuel Drajole, in a ceremony that was witnessed by Eng Dr Christopher Ebal, the Commissioner Engineering and Technical Services.

Eng Ebal represented the Permanent Secretary/Secretary to the Judiciary.

HW Ssajjabbi Noah, the Chief Magistrate of Pader and different stakeholders including the Mayor Patongo Town Council, the Chief Administrative Officer Agago District, district councilors, among others were present.

The courthouse sits on about three acres of land. The new structure has spacious chambers for the Magistrate, family court chambers and family court hall, reception, registry, spacious and modern court hall, self-contained cells for both adults and juveniles.

The construction of the courthouse was carried out by Hotel Zawadi Limited for a period of two years.
